About Me

As a photographer, I prefer to examine people and objects close up, to capture details and unexpected (or unexplored) beauty. My style is generally full of color and light, capturing bright and uplifting images that highlight joyfulness in the people and world around us.

Originally hailing from Chicago, I spent almost two decades in the Washington, DC area, but moved back to the Midwest to be surrounded by phenomenal family and friends.

I’m a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, American University, and Johns Hopkins University, and have received instruction from award-winning photographers at Washington Photo Focus, the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and Chicago Photography Classes.
